Adversidad on Flickr.En este primer dia despues del equinoccio de primavera, y aprovechando el sol y el buen clima, mi madre decidio invertir su manana en sus plantas y algunas flores que compro durante el fin de semana; al querer transplantar alguna de esas flores fue por unas cuantas macetas con tierra que se encontraban arrumbadas de la cochera durante todo el invierno, cual fue su sorpresa al ver que una de dichas macetas contenia una pequena plantita que decidio salir de su adversidad apesar de la falta de sol y agua. Sorprendida y enternecida me dijo que desconocia que planta seria, asi que le hecho un poco de agua y la saco al sol dandole todo el espacio que ella misma se gano.

Violetta Guys on Flickr. This is from my first band session. Since I’m not a professional photographer (or an self-procalimed one) I just wanted to experiment how it would be to take photos for a band. My friend’s band was in need for some presentation pics and since there are a lot of self-proclaimed photographers around charging ridiculous prices I offered him to do this job for his band, free of course. So far I enjoyed this process but I still can’t believe why people turns this pleasure into business without even being professional yet. If you want a decent portfolio begin with passion instead of money.Practice & support local artist. Violetta is a local band from El Paso, mainly focused on alternative and rock en espanol music. The band consists of four integrants: Arturo (vocals), Memo (guitar), Danny (bass) and Raul (drums). I took this pics at LaTour Bar where the band plays every friday presenting their own songs and covers from well known Latin Bands.
